Alpine will become one of the main sponsors of Pramac Yamaha in MotoGP for the 2025 season. The team will transition to being Yamaha’s satellite outfit, with Miguel Oliveira and Jack Miller as its riders.
According to Motorsport.com, Renault Group’s sports car brand will share sponsorship prominence with Prima, which remains the title sponsor until the end of 2027.
Paolo Campinoti, owner of Pramac, and Alpine CEO Luca de Meo have a strong relationship. Additionally, the team has previously engaged in collaborations with the automotive world, featuring the Formula 1 logo on its bikes in 2021. In 2019, it also showcased a special Lamborghini livery during the Italian GP.
De Meo, formerly an executive at FIAT Group, oversaw the Italian automaker’s sponsorship of Yamaha from 2007 to 2010. Now, it seems he is bringing the Alpine brand into MotoGP, further expanding its presence, which already spans Formula 1 and the World Endurance Championship (WEC).
