MotoGP is facing a very competitive era, more than ever, but that doesn’t take away Pedro Acosta’s confidence in making a positive result on his first GP, with the rookie looking at the top ten as possible result. For the spaniard, if he gets to improve on time attack and get to Q2, he will be able to ‘fight for something’.
The Red Bull GASGAS Tech3 was seen in a video speaking about possible results in the next GP, the first of the MotoGP 2024 season, in Losail, saying that he believes he can be inside the top ten: ‘I think I can be with Brad [Binder] again. Top 10, let’s say. 10th, 11th, 12th.. in this area, you know?! It’s not bad for us. It’s also true that with the race pace we’re faster but we’re missing a bit with the fast lap but it’s normal enough for this’.
Acosta believes that in case he gets a good lap done that lets him into Q2, he can actually have a very competitive race: ‘If we improve on this and we’re able to be in Q2. Everything is done. If we’re in the top 10 we are able to fight for something’.
