The start of the MotoGP season has not been easy for Francesco Bagnaia – who has struggled to match Marc Márquez, his new teammate at Ducati.
The Spanish rider arrived at the Borgo Panigale factory and immediately felt comfortable and competitive with the Desmosedici GP25. Meanwhile, Bagnaia is facing some difficulties adapting to this year’s bike.
Kevin Schwantz acknowledges that the Italian’s task is not easy. However, in statements to the website GPOne.com, the former rider emphasized that this is still an early stage of the season:
– It’s making Pecco’s life a bit difficult, but I think Bagnaia needs to remember that we are only in the third race. He needs to keep working, improve the bike slightly, regain confidence, and he will be back at the front.
