The focus is clear for Luca Marini who sees the MotoGP in Austin as another opportunity to keep growing aboard the Honda and that is exactly what he intends to do at the GP of the Americas, a place with fond memories.
On his first season with the japanese manufacturer things aren’t going as smoothly as Marini would have thought with the RC213V but his mind is set on the bigger objective, with the rider making his preview of this next GP on the other side of the Atlantic ocean:
– Austin holds a special place in my heart and I have good memories from last year. We arrive in a different situation this year but I am still positive that we can make more progress in America. It’s a very particular circuit in Texas and you’ve seen that Honda has had something there in the past. No matter the track, our focus and intention stays the same as we keep building this project.
After two rounds Marini is one of three riders who still haven’t score a single point in the season.
