After a promising start with a podium, Brad Binder and KTM faced some difficulties in the 2024 MotoGP season – continuing to stay far from fighting for the titles or challenging Ducati’s supremacy.
The South African, ranked fifth, was the best after the riders with the Borgo Panigale bikes, but he also had nearly twenty crashes and a lot of inconsistency – even scoring fewer points than in 2023.
In an interview with the Crash.net website, Binder did not deny the reality that the results fell short of expectations. But he also expressed optimism with the work going on in the team:
– Look, it’s super clear we all expected more this season. The reality of the situation is that we’ve been struggling a little bit more than would have liked. No one’s super happy where we are, that’s for sure. But the entire team and people back at the factory are giving such a massive effort that it brings me a lot of comfort. I’ve a really good feeling we’re not going to be here for long.
