Nicolas Goyon, Team Manager of Red Bull KTM Tech3, analyzed Maverick Viñales’ performance at the Argentina Grand Prix, highlighting the Spanish rider’s recovery during Sunday’s race.
‘We knew that this Sunday in Argentina would be quite difficult, and it was complicated for both Maverick Viñales and Enea Bastianini. However, Maverick produced a great effort with a 12th place after starting 19th on the grid,’ emphasized the chief of KTM’s satellite team.
Despite the modest result, Goyon saw positive aspects in the Spaniard’s performance: ‘It’s clear that it’s not what we’re aiming for, but it’s a decent result, especially because it seems that Maverick found a better base on the bike this morning, which was confirmed in the race.’
‘This is what we’re looking for,’ concluded Goyon, suggesting that the adjustments found by Viñales could be an important starting point for the next stages of the championship.
