The Portuguese Trackhouse rider was present yesterday in a event to promote one of his sponsors at the launch of the MotoGP of Portugal, where there was a large fans for this contact with the Portuguese MotoGP rider.
The rider also had the opportunity to answer some questions put to him by the journalists present at the place, where we highlight here in this article the question asked about the sensation rider of the moment Pedro Acosta. The question put by the newspaper Record to Miguel Oliveira about the Spanish rider was: What do you expect from Pedro Acosta, a rookie, this year?
And the Portuguese rider promptly replied: ‘I think very high of him, he’s going to be a champion soon. I think so, you can already tell. As they say in football language, he’ll be carried to make it happen. Compared to other rookies, I don’t think he’s really stood out in Qatar, there have been others in their debut seasons who have achieved more interesting results. But because of his character he’ll undoubtedly be a great champion’.
Analysing these statements by the Portuguese rider, it leaves Miguel Oliveira as the only rider in the paddock who didn’t consider Pedro Acosta’s debut to be a great achievement, and he even finished the weekend’s two races ahead of Portuguese.
