Miguel Oliveira has resumed bike training recently. With just one week to go before the MotoGP Solidarity GP of Barcelona, which will close out the season, the Trackhouse Racing rider is eager to return to competition.
On Thursday, the Portuguese rider shared an Instagram Story showing a still image of a rider on a track. The caption left no room for doubt: ‘Yep. That’s me’.
This marks another step in Oliveira’s recovery, after he fractured his right wrist during the Indonesian GP in late September. He underwent surgery, a procedure that involved the placement of a plate and 11 screws, as he explained in a recent interview with Diário de Notícias.
In the same talk, Oliveira mentioned it was ‘quite likely’ he would compete in the season’s final GP. This race will be his farewell to Trackhouse Racing and Aprilia, and just two days afterward, he will conduct his first test with the Prima Pramac Yamaha YZR-M1.
