Once the connection with the current team has ended, Miguel Oliveira will have a first contact with Pramac Racing and Yamaha and M1 next Tuesday. Excited and expecting something different, in terms of sensations, the Portuguese believes that previous experience with two manufacturers can help him.
Regarding his expectations for the tests in Barcelona in two days, the Portuguese began by saying: ‘I expect something completely different, that’s for sure, but also exciting because it’s a new bike and it will certainly give a different feeling to the bike. riding and I’m curious to see how much time on the bike I’ll need to really understand. In any case, it will only be the first day and we will have plenty of time in February to get to know the bike.’
If you want to try and feel the Yamaha engine, in line and different from the V4 you are more accustomed to, Oliveira said he hopes that experience with other motorcycles and manufacturers can perhaps help you in this adaptation process:
– In the end I believe it will give a different sensation but each engine, when listening to these bikes, has its own particularities. I discovered with the Aprilia that this engine is peculiar in its power delivery, but I also believe that having ridden the KTM and the Aprilia has given me more tools to adapt perhaps to what is to come and I hope that this is the case.
