Ducati has in Michele Pirro a test rider who over the years has had a strong relationship with the brand’s riders and this is an asset, believes the Italian who also knows what it’s like to be in their role as a full-time rider, and that’s a powerful combination.
Pirro welcomes this relationship with the riders, and believes that knowing what they do and feel is very beneficial for all parties: ‘I feel part of them, I live what I do, I live the rider, I understand well what they feel, what the difficulties are. I’ve lived it and that’s a great advantage, as well as having a great passion,’ he explained to GPOne, before explaining how he tries to have a relationship with the riders himself:
– Finding a relationship with all the riders helps to create that harmony that I think helps at least in part to grow and improve. Over the years I’ve tried to have a relationship with all of them, certainly among them there’s one with whom I’ve bonded more, but it depends on the character of each one.
The rider has been connected with the Borgo Panigale team for many years and has been a test rider since 2013.
