Maverick Viñales’s future in the MotoGP World Championship lies with Red Bull KTM Tech3 in 2025, giving him the opportunity to enter the history books by achieving a feat no one else has managed: winning races with three different manufacturers.
The Spaniard entered MotoGP in 2015 with Suzuki and secured his first victory in the premier class with the Hamamatsu manufacturer at the 2016 British GP. He moved to Monster Energy Yamaha in 2017, starting with a win in Qatar.
After a turbulent end to his relationship with the Iwata-based company in mid-2021, Viñales joined Aprilia, where he remains to this day. Last April, he secured his first victory with the Noale manufacturer by dominating the Americas GP.
Now, in 2025, the #12 will compete on a KTM, potentially becoming the first rider in history to win with four different manufacturers. The maximum achieved so far is three, a record held by Viñales himself, along with Eddie Lawson, Loris Capirossi, and Randy Mamola.
