Ducati has been the dominant manufacturer in MotoGP in recent years. Marco Bezzecchi rode one of their bikes until last year, but now he moves to Aprilia – where he will attempt to challenge their supremacy.
Asked whether he believes it is possible to surpass the Borgo Panigale manufacturer, the Italian clarified that, for now, that is not his focus, as he is still getting to grips with the RS-GP:
– I don’t know. At the moment, it’s not my target; my target is to continue adapting to the bike, and making it faster. And then, from that moment we will see what we can do.
Aprilia has been battling KTM for the title of best of the rest. Last year, it was the only manufacturer besides Ducati to secure a victory in a main race.
