After a difficult weekend in Australia, Marco Bezzecchi arrives at the Thai Grand Prix with a single goal: redemption. The Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team rider, who is currently 11th in the overall standings with 134 points, believes that Buriram will be the perfect opportunity to forget the two consecutive retirements and compete among the best again.
‘We are not leaving behind an easy weekend, but the beauty of so many races in a row is being able to reset immediately and get back to work quickly’, said Bezzecchi in an official statement, reflecting on the challenges faced in Australia.
Despite the difficulties, the rider emphasizes that there were still positive aspects: ‘On the one hand, we must recognize that in Australia we were still competitive, even if we didn’t collect anything’.
The focus is now on the characteristics of the Thai track, which Marco Bezzecchi sees positively: ‘Let’s go back to the data, the weather and asphalt conditions will be different, the track is very beautiful and particular and the goal is to stay there in the slipstream of the strongest riders’.
With good memories of the Buriram circuit, where last year he almost climbed onto the podium after an impressive recovery, Bezzecchi hopes that this round will help him regain the confidence and results that have recently eluded him.
