Marco Bezzecchi once again made a very positive impression at the wheel of the Aprilia RS-GP, setting the manufacturer’s fastest lap in Buriram today. Happy to do so, the rider underlined the good feeling at the front of the bike, even if not everything is going 100%.
If it was good to have done Aprilia’s best lap (ever) at the Buriram circuit, the Italian was happy, before commenting on the praise from Raúl Fernández, who praised the #72’s rapid adaptation to the new bike: ‘It was very good of course and it’s always a good feeling. To be honest, I’ve been feeling good since Montmeló, and of course it’s taken a while to adapt and I’m still adapting in some ways and in some areas of my riding, but to be honest, it was a bike that gave me good confidence from the start with the front and that was the key to adapting very well’.
‘When you have good sensations with the front, everything becomes a little easier’, added the Italian, adding that despite this and these good sensations, not everything is so good after all:
– With the new tire I’m still struggling. The bike reacts in a completely different way when I put new tires on and the adaptation isn’t complete.
