Marco Bezzecchi faces the Grand Prix of the Americas with great motivation, determined to make up for the last race and consolidate the progress he showed at the start of the season. The Italian rider knows the Circuit of the Americas well, where he has already stood on the podium twice: in 2021 in the Moto2 category and in 2018 in Moto3.
In a press release previewing the GP in America, the Italian began by saying: ‘I’m happy to go to Austin, especially because I want to make up for the last race. It will be a challenging track, the most physically demanding on the MotoGP calendar, but I’m very motivated. I’m really looking forward to this weekend with my team – we’re getting to know each other better and things are moving in the right direction’.
Aprilia Racing arrives in the United States with an impressive record at this circuit, after absolute domination in 2024. The Italian team took pole position with a track record time, won the sprint race, triumphed in the main race and also recorded the fastest lap. For Bezzecchi, this is an ideal setting in which to aim for a significant result.
With a competitive bike and an increasingly close-knit team, the Italian hopes to face the physical challenges of the Texan track and fight for a performance that lives up to expectations. The weekend in Austin will be another opportunity for Bezzecchi to prove his worth and consolidate the work done so far.
