Marc Márquez has faced a challenging time in MotoGP since becoming champion in 2019. The following year, he suffered a severe injury right at the first Grand Prix, marking the beginning of a period marked by several injuries and physical problems.
Fully recovered for 2023, he had to deal with the decreasing competitiveness of the Honda RC213V. So much so that, without any victories throughout the year, he eventually decided to terminate his contract a year early and move to the Gresini/Ducati satellite team.
In a video marking the farewell to 2023 and the entrance into the new year, Márquez expressed his desires for 2024 on the MotoGP website: Marc Márquez: ‘On racing, no injuries, and on the personal life, just be healthy’.
