The eyes of MotoGP are focused on the title fight with Pecco Bagnaia and Jorge Martín being the highlights, but as far as the title is concerned, no one currently on the grid has more experience and knows what it’s like than Marc Márquez, with the eight-time champion giving a “free” tip to his future teammate in 2025.
If tomorrow, having both Martín and Bagnaia in front of him, as happened today, will that affect or make his race different, the former world champion replied: ‘No, it’s the same thing. We have our personal battle with [Enea] Bastianini and it seems that when he is very strong I have more difficulties I am more on the opposite side, but let’s see’.
Márquez believes that tomorrow will be a very important day for both title contenders, especially with the two-time MotoGP world champion in mind, to whom he gave some “advice”:
– The most important thing is the fight for the championship [for third place in his case and for the title] and tomorrow we will see an intense battle again between Martín and Bagnaia, because they are both riding very fast, and Bagnaia has to take risks, because if he wants to have any chance in Valencia tomorrow he has to finish ahead of Martín.
If he had to choose between being third in the championship or winning one more race, the rider did not hesitate: ‘Win one more race’.
