The flagship KTM 990 RC R, set to roll off the production line in Mattighofen in early 2025, has a dedicated Supersport personality but will be homologated for road use. The new development incorporates the fusion of Austrian engineering excellence and racing DNA, providing a unique performance while embracing the practical demands of the road. Instantly catering to the desires of “orange” enthusiasts fixated on track days and individuals looking to keep the adrenaline flowing with an exceptionally capable road bike.
The KTM 990 RC R will thrill enthusiasts with its street-legal model, but its racing DNA will intentionally be revealed in early 2024. The prototype will appear as a wildcard in non-scoring races in selected European Supersport series, sparking fans’ expectations.
KTM is also filming a behind-the-scenes documentary in various parts about the motorcycle’s R&D journey and its entry into the Supersport sector.
