Kawasaki has revealed more details about the Eliminator 500 range, a competitor to the Honda CMX500 Rebel, which was first identified in June 2023 and will join the Japanese company’s lineup in 2024.
The laid-back and A2-friendly models will consist of a standard Eliminator, as well as an SE version, with both machines equipped with a 451 cc twin-cylinder engine derived from the 399 cc engine of the Ninja 400 and Z400.
Arriving at dealerships from January, this engine is installed in a steel tubular frame that, once again, takes inspiration from the Ninja. Despite the sporty name it has been given, the new Eliminator features a combination of 18″ front and 16″ rear wheels with cast rims, as well as a low seat height of 735 mm (45 mm higher than the Rebel).
If that height is too high for you, an option of 715 mm is also available, as well as a 765 mm model for those with longer legs. However, all setups are relatively low.
To distinguish the SE from the standard model, the premium option features a special package of colors and graphics, as well as a headlight cowl, rubber fork protectors, a USB-C port mounted on the handlebar, and an exclusive seat.
