Kawasaki is preparing to enter 2025 in full force by introducing updates to its mid-size models, the Z500 and Ninja 500. These bikes, which have quickly become rider favorites since their launch, continue to captivate the public with their distinctive design and outstanding performance.
The new Z500 and Ninja 500 stay true to their roots, boasting lines that evoke the iconic Z and Ninja families respectively. The Z500 sports an aggressive naked look, while the Ninja 500 features a sleek fairing typical of the brand’s supersport models.
At the heart of these machines is a completely revamped 451 cc engine. This power unit offers linear and consistent power delivery throughout the rev range, adapting to both city traffic and highway travel.
Kawasaki has incorporated various technologies to improve the riding experience. The assisted slipper clutch reduces the effort required to operate the lever, making riding more comfortable, especially in urban environments. The trellis frame, inspired by that of the Ninja H2 superbike, has been designed to provide optimum rigidity and lightness.
Both models have a seat height of 785 mm, with a slender design that makes it easy to keep your feet on the ground. The instrument panel varies depending on the version: LCD on standard models and TFT on SE models, the latter offering smartphone connectivity.
For 2025, Kawasaki is introducing a new color option for the Ninja 500, inspired by the brand’s racing machines. The scheme combines Kawasaki’s iconic lime green with black, white and yellow graphics.
Whether you choose the Z500 or the Ninja 500, in standard or SE versions, Kawasaki promises to offer an engaging and versatile riding experience, suitable for both new riders and more experienced riders looking for an agile and fun machine.
