The warm-up of the MotoGP Portuguese Grand Prix was led by Jorge Martín. The vice-world champion set the fastest time on his penultimate lap of a session where the most important thing is to finalize the preparations for the race.
After the initial flying laps, Marco Bezzecchi (Pertamina Enduro VR46/Ducati) led the pack with a 0.187s advantage over Raúl Fernández (Trackhouse Racing/Aprilia).
The leaderboard saw significant changes during the second attempts, with Pedro Acosta (Red Bull GasGas Tech3/KTM) emerging on top, followed by Brad Binder (Red Bull KTM) in second place, trailing by 0.198s. Bezzecchi slipped down to 16th.
Three minutes before the end, Marc Márquez (Gresini/Ducati) suffered a harmless crash, only resulting in lost time. Meanwhile, Franco Morbidelli and Martín (Prima Pramac/Ducati) climbed to second and third, respectively.

Entering the final minute, Martín improved further to claim the lead, while Enea Bastianini (Ducati) secured the second position, trailing by 0.349s. Acosta thus dropped to third.
No one else managed to beat the top two riders, but Jack Miller (Red Bull KTM) moved up to third with his final attempt, while Maverick Viñales (Aprilia) and Takaaki Nakagami (LCR Honda) secured the fourth and fifth positions, respectively.
As a result, Acosta settled for sixth place, ahead of Binder, with Fernández in eighth and Álex Márquez (Gresini/Ducati) in ninth. Fabio Di Giannantonio (Pertamina Enduro VR46/Ducati) rounded out the top ten ahead of Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati).
