After winning the MotoGP world title with Pramac Racing, riding a Ducati Desmosedici, Jorge Martín continues his career with the official Aprilia team, where he expects this to be a ‘very big challenge’.
The driver was present at the Borgo Panigale brand event, Campioni in Festa, where he was asked about the next step in his career, similar to what other riders have done.
Martín explained that it will be complicated, especially since Aprilia is not yet at the same level as Ducati, but he once again emphasized his confidence for the future: ‘I think it is a very big challenge. It will be very difficult. It’s not easy to go from a super winning project to one that isn’t at the moment. But I have a lot of confidence and I think this new project gives me more motivation.’
The Spaniard, who will keep the #89 on his bike, thus giving up the #1, says that he will be super motivated and that he wants to be ‘someone’ in the world of motorcycles and in sport: ‘On the Ducati he would have done very well , I even won a title. But this new project gives me even more motivation to try to be someone in the world of motorcycling.’
