Jorge Martín’s life in MotoGP is going to change dramatically, as far as the bike and manufacturer he represents are concerned. Although he was champion when he left Ducati, the rider will continue his career with Aprilia and admits that he doesn’t know what his goals will be just yet.
The Spaniard was present at the Ducati Champions party, and when asked what his goals are for 2025, he replied… cautiously, as quoted on Motorsport: ‘I don’t know, we’ll see. At first we’ll certainly have to build, learn’.
After a first test with the RS-GP, where he gave feedback to the team with an emphasis on aspects that could be improved, Martín made it clear that day by day and progress will have to be gradual, although he left the door open to the possibility of doing something very positive:
– We have to improve every day and then we’ll see what we can do. If we start very well, we can do great things. If we start less well, there will be more work to do, we’ll see. But I believe the potential is very high.
