As it was expected, the news regarding what could have happened to Jett Lawrence and Jason Anderson came, with both riders to have given been fined.
The Race Direction of the competition, following the heated incident between both have decided to give a penalty to both riders. Both have received a note, of ‘Code of Conduct Violation’, also with both to be fined, without the amount of such to be made public.
The Honda rider had already apologized publicly in social media, saying the incident was caused by him, and that he would pay whatever fine Anderson would get.
On another note, the winner of the main event of the 250SX also lost two positions on the Heat 1 for ‘Gaining Advantage While off Track’, exactly the same violation on Anderson’s part (450SX), also on Heat 1, meaning one position lost.
Hunter Yoder on 250SX also lost two positions on Heat 2 for track cut, while Colby Copp lost the fastest lap made on Qualifying of the group C, first session for ‘jumping on red Cross flag’
