The start of the MotoGP season hasn’t been easy for Jack Miller. The Red Bull KTM rider hasn’t been able to keep up with the pace of his teammate Brad Binder or rookie Pedro Acosta (Red Bull GasGas Tech3/KTM), with only one top five finish, currently sitting in 14th in the championship.
It is in this context that he approaches the French GP – after a retirement in Jerez that left him without points for the second time this season. The Australian commented on the preview of the Le Mans round:
– I’m looking forward to it. It’s one of my favourite tracks on the calendar, so I’m happy to be back here. I’m looking forward to a good weekend. We saw the weather seems to be good, but it is Le Mans, so we never know.
After the difficulties of the first four Grands Prix, Miller remains confident, as he emphasized: ‘Test was good on Monday. Like I’ve said all along we just need to get this ball rolling and I feel like I’ve everything there to have a good weekend and kick off some decent results. We’ve been work hard, the team and myself, so fingers crossed this weekend it’s the one we’ll start properly’.
