Fermín Aldeguer is making his MotoGP debut this year with Gresini. Despite not clinching the Moto2 championship, he is regarded as a promising talent for the future, holding a direct contract with Ducati.
The Spanish rider stated in a press release: ‘It is a first for me on several levels, and my first team presentation as a MotoGP rider. The new livery of the bike is fantastic and very aggressive, and I think it reflects well the spirit of this team, who for many years have proven to be a great institution. The desire to take to the track is high, but this unveiling is already a big step forward towards this 2025 season’.
In an interview with MotoGP’s official channels, Aldeguer highlighted that, after a successful first test in November, he has a clear approach for the return to action in Malaysia:
– I thought a lot during this pause. The first test was very positive, because I felt very good from the start. But I have some things to learn, I trained this winter, and now in Malaysia I have to stay focused, work in a good way, with calm, and not look at the times and the position – only enjoying and learning lap by lap.
