The Sprint race format has doubled the number of races in the MotoGP season since they take place at every Grand Prix on Saturdays. Naturally, this causes more fatigue in an already intense calendar.
Some riders believe that the concept should be reconsidered – suggesting that Sprint races should not be held at every GP. However, no changes are planned for 2024.
Jack Miller was asked by SPEEDWEEK.com if he’s okay with this number of races. The Australian replied with his natural character: ‘Of course. I’m tired after the season, but I’m being paid to race 44 times a year’.
