Last year, Marco Bezzecchi finished third in the MotoGP World Championship, meaning that only two results will be better – be the champion or the runner-up. However, for the time being, the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team rider hasn’t specific goals in terms of results.
The Italian explained in a press conference that it’s too early to set targets: ‘I think it’s a bit early to set a specific goal. Last year was fantastic, but every year is different. This year there are some changes on the grid and we didn’t even made the first test, so I would like to wait to put myself a target’.
In any case, Bezzecchi emphasized he wants to make good performances again, setting his goals after the first tests of the year: ‘Of course after the last year I want also to make again good races, or even better. But for the moment I try to stay calm and stay focused on testing – try to learn the bike, try to put myself comfortable on the bike. And after Malaysia I will think about a target for myself’.
