Marc Márquez returned to battling for top positions in MotoGP this year and ended the season with another podium. On Sunday, the Gresini rider finished third in the Solidarity GP of Barcelona.
In an interview with the official broadcast, the #93 rider began by congratulating Jorge Martín on his championship victory: ‘First of all, I want to congratulate the world champion, Jorge Martín. Today it’s his day, he did an incredible season’.
Regarding his own race, Márquez expressed his determination to end his chapter with Gresini on a high note and to show gratitude for the season with one last podium:
– We did our best, I was super concentrated – I was like as if I were fighting for the world championship: full focus, full precision, to finish in a good way with Gresini team. Finishing on the podium was the best way to say thank you to this incredible family.
