The Circuit of the Americas is the next stop for MotoGP, a track where Marc Márquez has historically excelled – and has been dominating in 2025. His brother, Álex, has been his main rival, but Austin’s track record doesn’t intimidate him.
Ahead of the GP of the Americas, the BK8 Gresini rider stated in a press conference: ‘Many riders will be fast. We know that Marc might have an extra potential or advantage here, but we need to focus on ourselves, not on what the others are doing. I like that the focus is on Marc – that he has the pressure to win here, because he won many times here’.
Álex Márquez hopes to take advantage of the data from Marc that he has access to but emphasized that his main priority is maximizing his own performance:
– We have his data, so we need to extract the potential, to analyze everything. I already know in which corners he will be super fast. So, we need to focus on those ones. And, apart from that, we’ll focus on our own box, on ourselves, and later on we will try to see where we stand in the Sprint and where we stand in the race to try to achieve the maximum points.
