After Marc Márquez was confirmed at Gresini, Fabio Di Giannantonio had to prove to other teams that he deserved a place in MotoGP in 2024, so he was under tremendous pressure in the final phase of last season. And the reaction couldn’t have been better, with a clear improvement in performance that included his first victory in the premier class.
Asked if this year starts with less pressure and with the feeling of having established himself as a MotoGP rider, the Italian from Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team replied:
– Honestly I never gave so much attention to that. I like pressure overall, because when you have pressure, sometimes it’s nice – it pushes you. So I always like pressure. But at the moment the main goal is just on the bike, to have a great start. I don’t have any particular feeling about this, honestly.
