David Alonso is a champion on the track and today he once again showed his category as a rider by winning the Malaysian GP, in Moto3, but in the end there was little to celebrate, as he himself said, showing an altruistic and supportive attitude towards the Spaniards who are going through a bad time in Valencia.
‘Today I won but I feel I can’t celebrate this victory because today I only rode for one reason, for the Aspar team, for all the family members who are in Valencia’ said the rider, before mentioning that he will donate the value of the victory to the support fund that Aspar is organizing:
– It was difficult for me to keep my head in the race and I just tried to do my job, cross the finish line and that was it. This was for all of them, for the team, for Valencia and I want to say that I will give the money from the victory, the bonus and give it to the Valencians. Aspar has a Go Fund Me going on and I will put the money there to try to help Valencia. Now we finish this and we have more important things at home, so let’s help Valencia.
If you want or feel willing to help, you can do it so from here.
