Jorge Martín may be the reigning champion and leads Aprilia’s ambitions in MotoGP for 2025, but Marco Bezzecchi also carries significant expectations.
Massimo Rivola, CEO of the Noale-based team, emphasized in an interview with GPOne.com that both riders are immensely talented and will play key roles in the upcoming season:
– The pairing is explosive. They are two talents and two incredible personalities, and in fact, their riding reflects their character. I expect a lot from both: not only from Jorge but also from Marco, as he showed fantastic things in 2023, and we need to regain that momentum.
Two years ago, Bezzecchi achieved his first MotoGP victories and consistently fought at the front, finishing a remarkable third in the championship with a Ducati under the VR46 banner. However, 2024 proved more challenging, as he struggled to adapt to the 2023 version of the Desmosedici.
