Jorge Martín came close to winning the MotoGP Emilia Romagna GP, but on the last lap, he lost the lead to Enea Bastianini (Ducati) after an aggressive and somewhat controversial overtake by his rival.
The Spanish Prima Pramac rider clarified in a press conference that he’s not unhappy, emphasizing that he was pleased with his performance, despite missing out on victory:
– I didn’t say I’m not happy; I’m happy. I think I did a great weekend. For sure I wanted to win, but it’s okay. I’m happy with the performance, I’m happy with my qualifying.
Being in a tight title race, that’s Martín’s main goal at the moment: ‘The target it’s the end of the season. I will keep working, keep learning, and this is how I am happy. If I just look to the final result, for sure it could be better, but let’s move forward’, he said.
