The Qatar Grand Prix marked the beginning of the MotoGP season and didn’t go as planned. The point for the 15th place in the main race was the best that Trackhouse Racing’s rider achieved in Losail, after narrowly missing out on advancing to the second phase of qualifying – which hinted at better chances.
The Portuguese rider told the press after yesterday’s race that it takes time to fully exploit the potential of the Aprilia RS-GP, expressing confidence in his team:
– I believe we still need a little bit more time to get the best out of the bike. That’s what I want to believe; I think the team is able to do it, we just need some time and we need to keep working, put our heads down and get the best out of ourselves.
