After several years, Franco Morbidelli returned to the podium with a third-place finish at the MotoGP Argentina GP – his first with Ducati. To achieve this, he beat factory rider Francesco Bagnaia.
Despite the unfavorable outcome for #63, Ducati Corse General Manager Gigi Dall’Igna appreciated the Pertamina Enduro VR46 rider’s podium. He expressed his thoughts on LinkedIn:
– Franco has returned to the podium after a long absence: just thinking of this makes me emotional, knowing his flair and considering the negative vicissitudes from which he is determinedly emerging.
The engineer added: ‘This is the reward for his excellent start to the season, the credit for which must also go to the trust and serenity shown him by the team’.
