Brad Binder was once again the main face of Red Bull KTM Factory Racing at Qatar after adding two second places in both of races, only losing at the Sprint for Jorge Martín and on sunday to Pecco Bagnaia. His performance left Francesco Guidotti quite happy while in the case of Jack Miller the hope is to see the australian get get to the top places as soon as possible.
Team Manager for the austrian manufacturer, Guidotti looked at both of his riders race, starting with the south african: ‘A great race by Brad. He was outstanding out there. This isn’t one of our best tracks – or hasn’t been – so to be 2nd twice gives us a lot of confidence for the future. Also, the change we made to the bike after the Sprint made him happy’.
As for Miller, who was P10 on the Sprint and last on the main race – after crashing early on – Guidotti has the deep belief that the #43 will return to the best of his game pretty soon: ‘Crashing out meant that Jack could not take anything from the race but I am sure that he will be back near the front really soon. Portugal is another round for us and another challenge but with Brad in this kind of form and Jack with potential we can be optimistic’.
Brad Binder is second in the world championship with 29 points, while Jack Miller sits in 21st with none added so far.
