Jorge Martín is one of the protagonists of MotoGP today. After finishing as runner-up last year, he leads the 2024 championship after two rounds, already scoring a victory.
This is a decisive season for Martín’s future: he is with Prima Pramac Racing and aims to move to a factory team in 2025 – ideally with Ducati, but if that doesn’t happen, he will look for other manufacturers.
After the Portuguese GP, Jorge Lorenzo interviewed #89 on DAZN, where he highlighted his maturity and composure, giving a new nickname to ‘Martinator’ – ‘«Calculator»’, he said.
And in response to one of the questions posed by the three-time champion of the premier class, Martín spoke about his maturity, revealing the work he has done with psychologists:
– Well, mainly at a mental level, I believe that with the help of my psychologists, we worked on important things that made me weaker. I try to control things, and now I have to accept them and be calmer. During the race, I focused, I know what I have to think about.
