The 45th Bangkok Motor Show put cars in the spotlight, but among the four-wheeled vehicles, this “motorboat” named Felo Tooz managed to stand out. It is a fully electric motorcycle that boasts the longest range ever claimed: an impressive 720 km on a single charge. It is a motorcycle produced by the Thai giant Smartech, which also has the support of the Thai government for the project. With years of experience in the electric mobility sector with motorcycles, scooters, and bicycles, Smartech is now attempting a “big coup” with this super tourer with a clear attitude of devouring kilometers. The dimensions are absolutely significant and its appearance resembles motorcycles designed for long journeys, especially because the performance announced is truly unique for a fully electric motorcycle.
According to the manufacturer, the Felo Tooz allows worry-free long trips with its range, even reaching over 700 kilometers on a single charge. In terms of charging speed, the battery can go from 20 to 80% in just 20 minutes with Type 2 charging. In terms of performance, the Felo Tooz can reach a top speed of 200 km/h. There is also a V2L (Vehicle to Load) function that allows the motorcycle’s battery to power other devices. Nothing is mentioned about the weight, but it can be imagined to be quite heavy…
The equipment of the new electric tourer includes a huge 12-inch TFT screen with integrated navigation system and a 360° camera system, not to mention ABS and traction control, and, believe it or not, the possibility of using one of the side cases as an eight-liter cooler. In short… a motorcycle that is, in many ways, truly unique. For now, it’s just a prototype, but it seems that Smartech from Thailand is really going to invest in the project.
