With his eyes set on the future, without looking at the calendar. This is the attitude that Fabio Quartararo has taken throughout the season and the one he intends to continue to take without necessarily thinking about what may happen in 2025 but only about continuing the work of evolving the Yamaha M1, with the tests, especially with four riders, being important, he considered.
If he is already thinking about the next season regardless of what happens in the remaining races this year, the Frenchman clarified: ‘It’s a different mentality because with the concessions we never thought about 2025. We always think about making the bike better and better and we changed the engine four times this year, four chassis and we will have another one before Valencia, I believe, so we don’t have the next season in mind’.
Yamaha will have a satellite team again from next year, a year that will be very important, with Quartararo being focused only on the day-to-day, but without neglecting the future, with a working method that will be enriched with Pramac Racing:
– The bike is evolving step by step and that’s what I’m referring to. The test in Valencia will be very important because we will also have some different things, but the preseason tests with four bikes, even the Shakedown… We have many test days and I believe that will be very important for us, to take the next step.
