The director of Mooney VR46, Pablo Nieto, welcomed the signing of Fabio Di Giannantonio to strengthen the team for 2024.
The Mooney VR46 team, one of the most prominent in the world of motorcycling, has announced an exciting new line-up for next season. Fabio Di Giannantonio, a talented and promising rider, will join Marco Bezzecchi, already established in the team. This new duo promises to bring a combination of energy, talent and experience to the team.
‘For the first time, we’ve opened our doors to a driver who wasn’t trained at our academy. And now it’s time for us to start liaising and working. He comes from a team like Gresini, they’re very good and we’ll have to gather as much information as we can to try to improve, and that will raise the level of our team a lot,’ said Nieto, who also revealed that the biggest concerns for 2024 are ‘aerodynamics, which will be super important to manage the bike well, as well as the engine and suspension’ he explained to Spain’s DAZN.
