By moving to the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team, Fabio Di Giannantonio once again changes his MotoGP crew chief, now working with David Muñoz – who is making his debut in the premier class despite having significant experience in the paddock.
The Italian rider acknowledged that these changes are not ideal, requiring an adaptation to the working methods. Nevertheless, he expressed confidence in establishing a good working relationship with Muñoz:
– For sure starting from zero never helps, let’s say. But when you restart with a great person, a person with a lot of knowledge, is not really a problem. When we met each other in Valencia, the first feeling was really good. For sure he has a different way of working on the bike, also a different method, how to work in the garage. But I think it won’t be a big issue. Also because when you go fast everything is easier and more relaxed. So the goal is to be as fast as possible and for sure David can help me to achieve the maximum this year.
