The tragedy in Valencia led to a change of plans for the FIM JuniorGP. The season’s final round will now take place at the Autódromo do Estoril instead of the originally planned Circuito Ricardo Tormo.
This last round of the season will not be held over a weekend but rather from November 25 to 27. Monday will feature testing sessions, followed by practice and qualifying on Tuesday, with the races scheduled for Wednesday.
In addition to the FIM JuniorGP World Championship (two races), there will also be events for the European Moto2 Championship, the European Talent Cup, and the European Stock Championship (one race each).
In the FIM JuniorGP, Álvaro Carpe (STV Laglisse Racing/Husqvarna) leads the standings and will be fighting for the title against Jesús Rios (MRE Talent/KTM), Máximo Quiles (Team Estrella Galicia 0,0/Honda), and Adrián Cruces (Finetwork Team/KTM).
Roberto García (Fantic Cardoso Racing/Kalex) is the leader in the European Moto2 Championship, with Mattia Casadei (Team Ciatti-Boscoscuro) as his main title contender. Carlos Cano (Seventytwo Motorsports Artbox) has already claimed the ETC championship, while in the European Stock category, three riders remain in the title hunt: Mario Mayor (Yamaha GV Macrobonsai Racing) leads over his teammate Lorenzo Dalla Porta and Demis Mihaila (MDR Competición).
