The MotoGP World Championship arrives in Austin, Texas, for the third round of the 2025 season, with riders preparing to tackle the demanding Circuit of the Americas. For Enea Bastianini, this stage represents a return to a venue of good memories, where he won in 2022 and climbed onto the podium last season.
After an unlucky weekend in Argentina, the Italian from Red Bull KTM Tech3 is determined to turn the page and show his true potential with the RC16.
‘Argentina was unlucky for us, which is a shame, because I had a good start, and the story could have been different. Anyway, we move on to Austin, one of my favorite tracks on the calendar,’ said Bastianini in the preview of the third round of the championship.
For #23, the American circuit ‘will be interesting’ to confirm his ‘potential with KTM at COTA’: ‘I have many good memories of Texas, and I love going to the United States. Austin is a fantastic city, with many fans and an incredible atmosphere, so I’m looking forward to this race and hope to be competitive.’
Consistency will be a key factor for Bastianini, who seeks to consolidate his progress at KTM and achieve a solid result at the Americas GP, especially after what he showed in 2024 and at a time when he seems to be improving with the RC16.
