Many of the latest innovations in the world of electric mobility come from China. Whether you like it or not, Chinese companies are taking big steps in electric motors and battery technology, and many of them are making their presence felt in the global market, particularly in Europe.
With EICMA approaching, it is expected that many of the new electric vehicle experts from China will travel to Italy to present their latest technology to a rapidly expanding electric mobility industry. For example, Yadea, one of the established Chinese experts in electric mobility, has announced its presence at EICMA 2023 and is eager to show what it has to offer for the coming year.
Yadea is considered one of the pioneers in the light electric mobility segment. The company first participated in EICMA in 2015, at a time when the acceptance and recognition of electric motorcycles was not as widespread as it is today. Since then, the company has managed to deliver impressive performance in the markets where it operates. In 2022, the company managed to sell an impressive 14.01 million units. In the same year, Yadea also increased R&D expenses by 31.1%, with six technology centers, a national industrial design center, and two CNAS (China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment) laboratories.
For EICMA 2023, Yadea introduced a new product that will be revealed on November 7, 2023. The company provides very few details other than it will feature a “high-performance” motor, as well as come with “smart” technology. With the rapid integration of AI-powered intelligent systems in electric vehicles, Yadea is likely to have something of this nature in store. In addition to the new model, the Keeness will also be presented, along with a wide selection of other products, in the brand’s spacious 800 square meter area.
Yadea has previously launched some impressive models, at least on paper, and has also worked with some of the biggest names in the industry. For example, in May 2023, it launched the electric scooter VF F200 in partnership with Porsche. The company also has a range of electric scooters, the electric motorcycle Keeness VFD, and an e-bike in its lineup, models that were previously showcased at CES 2023.
