Ducati Japan has officially announced the exclusive release of the Scrambler Icon Dark 2025, marking the 10th anniversary of the beloved Scrambler line. Featuring a sleek matte black finish and a clean, minimalist design, this model stands out for its subtle styling, light weight, and user-friendly handling—all while staying true to the classic Scrambler identity established since 2015.
Inspired by the dual-purpose motorcycles of the 1960s, the Scrambler Icon Dark follows a neo-retro approach with an exposed frame, round headlight with a distinctive “X” signature, and minimalist styling. Built on the 803cc Scrambler Icon platform, it retains the air-cooled 90-degree L-twin engine, producing 73ps (53.6kW) at 8250rpm and 6.65kgfm of torque at 7000rpm.
Weighing just 176kg, the bike is extremely easy to handle, making it ideal for both seasoned and beginner riders. Its 795mm seat height also ensures confident footing and a comfortable riding position.
Though it boasts a vintage look, the Icon Dark comes with up-to-date technology:
- Ride-by-wire throttle
- Two riding modes (Road and Sport)
- Optional up-and-down quickshifter
- 4.3-inch full-color TFT dashboard
- Full LED lighting with signature “X” daytime running light
- KYB suspension (front and rear)
- Brakes: 330mm front disc, 245mm rear disc
- Wheels: 19″ front, 18″ rear
- Fuel tank capacity: 14.5L
From its stamped seat to its completely matte black tank, every element of the bike enhances its refined and urban personality.
Though the official price has not yet been disclosed, the bike is already featured on Ducati’s Japanese website, suggesting its release is imminent. Also expected is the “10th Anniversary Rizoma Edition”, limited to 500 units, which adds premium parts for a special celebration model.
Blending minimalist aesthetics with contemporary features and urban performance, the Scrambler Icon Dark 2025 is set to become a go-to choice for those seeking style, agility, and authenticity in a modern motorcycle.
