The MotoGP rider market has been the subject of many rumors for several weeks, but there are no concrete decisions yet regarding the available spots. The most coveted seat of all is the Ducati spot alongside Francesco Bagnaia.
According to Trackhouse Racing team manager Davide Brivio, this situation is currently causing a blockage: ‘That’s a lot going on on the market, but everything is stucked until, I think, the factory teams make the move starting from Ducati to be honest – because everybody is waiting for what they decide’.
In Brivio’s view, who has extensive experience leading teams, after Ducati makes its decision, other movements will be triggered by both riders and teams:
– Then, after their decision there will be some disappointed riders who will try to go to a available spot in a factory team. Then there are some decisions to take: where you go for the salary, where you go for competition, etc.. Once all the factory teams will be set, there will be some other disappointed riders that wanted to get a factory machine. So we are here and at the moment we have to wait.
