The 2024 Isle of Man TT edition concluded with Davey Todd (Milwaukee BMW Motorrad) clinching victory in the Senior TT. The race, spanning four laps, saw Todd’s dominance becoming evident in the latter part of the event.
In the first lap, Peter Hickman (Monster Energy BMW by FHO Racing) led the pack, followed by Todd and Michael Dunlop (Hawk Racing MD Racing/Honda). However, Dunlop encountered issues and had to retire during the opening lap, thwarting his chances of securing his 30th victory.
Although Hickman continued to lead and extend his advantage in the second lap, he unfortunately crashed at Ginger Hall. While he escaped major injuries, he was forced out of the race, relinquishing what seemed like a potential win.
From then on, Todd took control, gradually pulling away from Josh Brookes (Monster Energy BMW by FHO Racing) and crossing the finish line with a 39s lead. Dean Harrison (Honda Racing UK) secured the final spot on the podium, unable to keep up with the top two.
