For the second time this year, Daniel Mogeda will start from the pole position in the World Supersport 300 Championship. This Friday, the championship leader set the fastest time in the Superpole session at Misano.
At the start of the session, as riders completed their first flying laps, there were eight different leaders in less than a minute until Marc García (KOVE Racing Team) solidified his position.
The Spaniard remained at the top of the timesheet for about ten minutes before being overtaken by Aldi Satya Mahendra (Team BrCorse/Yamaha). Approximately ten minutes later, Mogeda set the pole position lap.
The Spanish rider from Team#109 Retro Traffic Kawasaki clocked in at 1m49.278s. Mahendra could not improve, finishing 0.138s behind. García will start from third, having been 0.232s slower than Mogeda.
Iñigo Iglesias (Fusport-RT Motorsport by SKM-Kawasaki), who is second in the championship standings, secured the fourth position. The Superpole session was marked by several crashes, but fortunately, no riders were seriously injured.
