One of the most respected riders in the last MotoGP seasons is Dani Pedrosa, who despite not winning a single MotoGP title has amassed a lot of fans for his unique ability to ride… and to develop. Who took the opportunity to take on all this experience was KTM, securing the spaniard as test rider, with Giacomo Guidotti to praise the little Samurai.
Giacomo Guidotti, who worked for two years with the rider as a technician spoke to Moto.it in the podcast #atuttogas, about the #26 and didn’t shy away from praising the one of the KTM’s test rider: ‘Dani is very professional. His precision in his riding is also reflected in the way he communicates with the technicians during the set-up. It was an important experience for me, a great learning experience’.
For Giacomo Guidotti having a rider like Pedrosa is something that every manufacturer wants: ‘We need a Pedrosa in every manufacturer, and it would have been useful to have him with us’.
Recall that Pedrosa left MotoGP as a full time rider at the end of 2018 and, from there on took place in only three rounds: one in 2021, and two in 2023.
